The most important and foundational goal of The Rafiki Foundation is to help the people of Africa know God. All students are instructed with the Rafiki School Curriculum-a quality, academic curriculum written by the Foundation that integrates a biblical worldview into a traditional liberal arts core of arts, letters, sciences, and mathematics. Each Rafiki Village includes an accredited school from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The purpose of the Education Program is to cultivate minds and hearts that love God, their neighbor, and all that is true, good, and beautiful. The goal of the ChildCare Program is to rescue these children from physical death through medical care and nutrition, and to rescue them from spiritual darkness by teaching them to know God. The Childcare Program provides a loving home for up to 100 orphans in the Rafiki Training Villages. The Rafiki Foundation sends out qualified professionals to work with African nationals to promote the physical, spiritual, educational, and social well-being of children and widows through its programs. These Villages provide living, educational, and lifestyle facilities through Rafiki’s five programs: Childcare, Education, Bible Study, the Rafiki Advanced Learning Institute, and Widows. To accomplish this mission, Rafiki established ten Rafiki Training Villages within the African countries of Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. Design and typeset interiors and covers for new titles that meet technical print requirements (bleeds, slugs, separations, etc.), are based on market research, design trends, and with buy-in/assistance from design team and publishing team.

Conceptualize, with input from the team, and design new interior and cover templates to revitalize each of the CliffsNotes sub-series, including series-specific logos and art, with the help of the design team.

Help to develop and establish, using the current branding as a guide, a revitalized brand style and aesthetic for each of the CliffsNotes sub-series.
